Virtual Conference

Overview

In 2016, you won't be able to have a dialogue about higher education without discussing, in part, online learning. It's one of the fastest growing sectors in education today. Because of its importance, we invite you to attend the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Accelerate conference, the premier conference devoted to online learning - all without leaving NIU. For the first time, all NIU faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants are able to attend OLC Accelerate 2016 online for free and from the comfort of your office or home.

This year, OLC Accelerate (previously the Annual OLC International Conference, now in its 22nd year) is devoted to driving quality online learning, advancing best practice, and accelerating innovation. Through outstanding keynote speakers and sessions led by renowned leaders in online learning, virtual conference attendees will interact with other online educators to learn and network.
