Dr. Richard Orem Presidential Teaching Professor Department of Counseling, Adult and Higher Education and Department of Literacy Education
How does someone learn to teach? This question is especially relevant in higher education where most teaching faculty learn to teach on-the-job. In this seminar, Dr. Orem will reflect on over 40 years of teaching experience, in a variety of cross-cultural contexts, and offer some personal insights into knowledge gained about the act of teaching in these various contexts and from different mentors.
