Young string players improve music and reading skills and gain ensemble experience while playing all different kinds of music - classical, blues, tango, and folk.  Learn more about the great composers and enjoy playing with other string players.  Students should have a basic knowledge of note reading and have played their instrument in school for one to two years or had a year of private lessons.

BRING A FRIEND DAY: The second rehearsals of the spring semester, February 10, is open to any player who would like to experience the group - for free! Current members of Sprites are encouraged to invite a friend that day, but anyone is welcome to attend this rehearsal. There’s no fee and no obligation. We hope you’ll come back the following week to register for the semester.
