About the Event - Information for  Participating Alumni and Current Members

Rehearsals
December 21 at 3-6 p.m. and on December 22 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Concert Hall.  
When you arrive on December 21, check in at the table behind at the back entrance to the Concert Hall. We'll have nametags for everyone and dinner tickets for those who ordered them. 
Note: Be sure to let your families and friends know about the concert!

Confirm attendance and provide information about YOU for concert program by Dec. 9
Let us know for sure that you are playing and help us with an insert for the program about the participating alumni. Send your confirmation and the answers to the following questions to mailto: amanda.fl@niu.edu by December 9:

What name would you like us to use in the program?
Where are you now?
Are you still involved in music? If so, how?  

Dinner on December 21
Everyone is invited to dinner on December 21 but we need to know if you're coming by December 9! We're ordering trays of meat, cheese, hummus, bread, salad, drinks, and cookies from HyVee and will have this ready to go at the end of the rehearsal in Room 155. There is a fee of $8.00 per person.

Email your "yes" to amanda.fl@niu.edu by December 9. You may pay when you check in before the rehearsal on December 21 or send a check for $8.00, payable to NIU, to VPA External Programs, College of Visual and Performing Arts, NIU, 1425 W. Lincoln Hwy., DeKalb, IL 60115.

Performance and Reception on December 22
The concert is December 22 at 3 p.m.  There is no fee for the public to attend, but we will be collecting a free will donation for the community school scholarship programs at the concert.  There is a reception afterwards in the Concert Hall lobby.

Concert Dress
All black.  Men, long sleeves, no suits or ties.

There are a total 7 pieces; steelpan master Liam Teague is the guest performer for three pieces, Tico Tico, Triplets, and Winter. Be sure to practice everything thoroughly, so everyone arrives at the first rehearsal well prepared.
