Commissioned Work for the Choir and Workshop - Lee Kesselman
Thanks to an NEA grant, world-renowed choir composer Lee Kesselman has composed a piece for the CSA Children's Choir; the world premiere of the piece was at the choir's spring concert on May 15.  Mr. Kesselman joined the choir in an open rehearsal on April 17.  On Saturday, April 20, Mr. Kesselman conducted a workshop in the Working With Children's Voices series. The workshop was free and open to all and was for teachers, students, and choir directors who work with young voices. The CSA Children's Choir served as the demonstration choir for the workshop. CPDU credits are available to teachers to who attended the workshop.  See Lee Kesselman Residency - NEA Grant for more information.
