Teachers who have many years of teaching experience. Most have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in the field and some are advanced graduate students with numerous years of teaching experience. Associates are teachers who live in the community.
Teachers who are usually recent graduates from NIU’s School of Music, Theatre, or Art. They have taught lessons for at least four years and have taught for the community school for at least two years.
Teachers who have taught for at least three years, though not necessarily with the NIU Community School of the Arts. They are usually graduate students who are majoring in the subject area.
