Patrick Sheehan

Patrick Sheehan has been the conductor of the festival clarinet choir at the NIU Clarinet Cornucopia for several years. As a member of the staff of Woodlawn Arts Academy in Sterling, Mr. Sheehan is a private instrumental teacher, pianist, and musical director in the Sauk Valley area. His varied library of arrangements and custom music copywork have been requested and performed by The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Josh Duffee Orchestra (Quad Cities, IA), master flutist James Galway, and composer Roger Cichy. Mr. Sheehan is the E-flat clarinetist and arranger of the Sterling Municipal Band, and hosts “The Saturday Blues” which is broadcast weekly from the campus of Northern Illinois University on NPR news station 89.5 WNIJ. Several of his clarinet choir arrangements have premiered at past Clarinet Cornucopias.
