Kimberly McShane, trumpet

Kimberly McShane (apprentice 1) studies trumpet at NIU with Professor Mark Ponzo.  She is assistant principal with the NIU Philharmonic and is a member of the NIU Wind Ensemble.  She was a finalist for the Chicago Brass Festival Solo Competition in Spring 2012.  She has taught fundamentals to brass students at Hinsdale South High School and works with yonng children as an assistant for the early education music classes with the community school.
