Greg Heintz, string bass

Greg Heintz (apprentice 2) teaches upright and electric bass and has been a bass instructor for the NIU string techniques class.  He has also taught bass workshops for beginning students.  He is a member of the NIU Philharmonic and the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra.  He plays in string quintets, jazz combos, the All-University Jazz Band at NIU, and a jazz funk/fusion band.  He is an undergraduate in the NIU School of Music, where he studies bass with John Floeter.
