Victor Bastidas, percussion

Victor Bastidas (apprentice 2) specializes in Latin rhythm, jazz, and hand percussion.  Born in Colombia, he studied at Javeriana University.  He has recorded three albums and has appeared in many jazz clubs.  He has played with many well-known musicians, including Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, and Paquito de Rivera.  He graduated from the jazz performance program at Florida International University in Miami and is currently at NIU studying for his master's degree in jazz performance. He is an experienced teacher and enjoys working with both children and adults. Learn more about Victor at https://www.facebook.com/depaisesproject.
