Kristina Cottone (instructor, counselor) received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts in acting at NIU in May 2008. Her credits at NIU include A Child’s Christmas in Wales, Far Away, War and Peace, Storyteller's Theatre, Time to Burn, Yerma, Disciples, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. She has worked with Discovery Movement Theatre in South Dakota. In 2008, she appeared on screen at the Palm Springs Film Festival in the short "The Wolf." She has studied at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Actor's Movement Studio in New York, and in Romania with Andras Vishky, author of the play Disciples. Kristina is currently a company member of Organic Theatre Company in Chicago. She is also in a band called Snow on Sunday.
