Xavier Breaker (apprentice 1) graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in percussion performance. He is working on a master’s degree at NIU, where he studies with Robert Chappell and Gregory Beyer. He has played with a number of well-known musicians, including Loretta Holloway, Skip Pearson, and Bert Ligon. He has been a clinician and instructor at a number of high schools and has taught private lesson.
