Donnie Norton, saxophone, CSJazz Band

Donnie Norton (associate) earned his master’s degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in 2008. He has a bachelor’s degree from NIU, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2006 and studied with Steve Duke. He has performed jazz, classical, and Latin music in the Boston and Chicago areas and played in the NIU Jazz Ensemble and the New England Conservatory Jazz Orchestra. He has taught at the Birch Creek summer music camp, given many master classes at high schools, and has taught privately for several years.
