Have fun with other musicians while learning how to improve your playing. Learn about music theory and instrumental playing techniques, as well as more basic musical concepts such as melody, harmony, rhythm, form, texture and mood. All of these skills combine to take students to a deeper level of understanding and musical insight. Work together as a large ensemble and receive personal attention in small sectional rehearsals. Band members are expected to have at least one year of playing experience on their instrument. All campers receive a t-shirt. Final day concert begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Recital Hall.
