Arts Jam
June 20 - 23, 2011
For children ages 6 - 12 who enjoy art, music, and theatre
Children enjoy making wonderful music, creating fantastic artwork, and being very dramatic at this fun day camp that has become a popular community school tradition. Children are divided into groups by age and attend a daily class in music, art, and theatre, all related to a theme. This is a chance to draw, paint, sing, dance, act, listen, and create. Arts-related field trips are planned each day after lunch. The four-day camp begins on Monday and ends on Thursday with an open house for family and friends beginning at 3 p.m.
The 2011 theme is Animals and Art.
General Information about Arts Jam: Advanced registration is required. All registered campers receive an information letter, along with the camper rules, a week or so before camp begins. Campers are given a daily snack and are asked to bring a packed lunch each day. Every camper receives a t-shirt. Campers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and solid footwear; flip flops are not allowed.
