Theatre Boot Camp 

Ages 8 - 13
3 Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Room 161, Music Building
Spring 2013, dates TBA

Wanted: Curious kids who like to learn… who are storytellers and readers… who like movies and plays… who make up their own games. Learn how to make bold dramatic choices, interpret text, show emotions, gain focus on stage, and understand what it means to take a risk on stage. Students perform many acting exercises and learn to memorize, block, and perform scenes with a partner. Students bring a packed lunch to class and have a half-hour break at noon.

Improvisation for Teens 

Ages 13 -17
3 Saturdays, 3 - 5 p.m., Room 161, Music Building
Spring 2013, dates TBA

Learn how to develop strong characters, improve listening skills and work well in an ensemble-based environment – and have a great time! Explore the amazing world of improvisation through various games and exercises. Students focus on the building blocks of improv: who, what, when and where. So what are you waiting for... go ahead and dare yourself!
