Children who want to improve their singing skills and have fun singing in a group will have a great time at the NIU Choral Camp. Campers are assigned to choirs by age and rehearse with their choir twice each day. Campers also attend classes in singing, drumming, movement, reading music, and playing the piano and enjoy guest performances after lunch. The four-day camp begins on Monday and ends on Thursday with a public performance for family and friends in the Concert Hall beginning at 3 p.m.
The CSA Choral Camp is part of the community school’s summer program.
Camp director is Mary Lynn Doherty. Travis Erikson returns as one of the instructors.
