Shortridge teaches financial reporting in the undergraduate program and financial statement analysis and business valuation in the masters program. In addition, she teaches in the Financial Accounting and Reporting section of NIU's CPA Review program.
Shortridge's primary research interest is studying the impact of non-financial disclosures on capital markets and implications of accounting standards.
