My main area of interest is copyright law in the K-12 schools. I have written two books in this area: Copyright for Teachers and Librarians (2004) and Smart Copyright Compliance for Schools (2009). I have also published articles widely in this area in journals such as "Knowledge Quest," "TechTrends," and professional library journals. I teach two classes in this area as well: a library ethics class with a copyright piece and a class that focuses solely on copyright law in K-12 schools. I also sit on the university Intellectual Property comm. as well as on professional organization committees on copyright.
