Expertise: My laboratory studies nutrient transporters in cancer cell growth as well as metabolic changes that occur in cancer. We are seeking ways to harness these changes for improved therapies and diagnostics in cancer. I teach the Molecular Biology of Cancer course,as well as Molecular Biology and Human Physiology. My PhD is in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
