October 21, 2006 ETAS representation at Homecoming this year was once again outstanding.
Over 500 alumni from the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology visited our tent located near the Barsema Alumni and Visitor Center and enjoyed a wide spread of food and beverages. 200 of those alumni took advantage of discounted football tickets and attended the football game which NIU defeated Temple University by a score of 43 – 21. Numerous students were also in attendance to discuss current projects.
The CEET Formula race car that was designed, built and raced by students was displayed in front of our hospitality tent. We had great door prizes this year that were donated by ETAS and CEET including stadium blankets, NIU sweatshirts, NIU T-shirts, NIU caps, clock, stadium chairs, NIU folding camp chairs, and the grand prize was a Motorola Q phone.
Door prizes were awarded every 30 minutes by our entertaining emcees, ETAS Board Members, Jeffery Camplin and John McCuistion.
