Google drive has built in popular Apps including: Google Docs, Presentation (slide shows), Spreedsheets, Forms, & Drawing. Apps are available for Android and iOS devices to allow access on the go without logging in through the website.

Why use Google Apps?

Google Apps provides a free alternative to desktop programs to write papers, create presentations, spreedsheets, forms, and simple drawing functions. Students can then save their projects to their Google Drive and even share the files to others as an easy way to collaborate without having to worry about email attachments or sharing physical storage devices.

How can these tools be accessed?

Accessing Google Drive is easy for NIU students. Just sign in using the same information as you do for your student Google Mail account and start your work! Sign in at
