I am the Vice President of Service/Scholarship for Mortar Board Senior Honors Society; and the founding President for TWLOHA (To Write Love on Her Arms) currently in progress and pending approval with NIU. Extra Curricular activities I am involved in are Psi Chi, the University Honors Program and I am a Research Assistant for the Emotion Regulation & Temperament Lab. My campus related interests include service for the NIU community and Mortar Board Senior Honors Society. I enjoy speaking to younger students who need direction, or those who need help figuring out how to get involved with research in psychology.
An academic goal I have is to achieve as much as I can from my honors courses and make the most out the expertise professors have to offer. A career goal I have is to become a Marriage and Family Therapist and hopefully open my own private practice in conjunction with other therapists.
Scholarships I have received include: the Psychology Department Sponsorship, Study Abroad Provost Travel Grant for Honors Study Abroad and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
I enjoy photography, spending time with friends and family, volunteering, singing, learning about culture and religion, makeup, movies, jewelry, art, reading, research, writing, pinterest and looking for decorative ideas for homes or apartments.
