Kelly Katzman, Brittany Northcutt, Raquel Feehan, Analysa Irvin, Emily Hepner
Hi! I'm Kelly Katzman, a 23-year-old nutrition and dietetics student from Naperville, Illinois. My biggest loves in life, besides my amazing friends and family; are food and fitness. I aspire to become a registered dietician and hope to someday find a career (preferably somewhere warm and tropical) that combines my two passions. I would love to show the world that healthy food CAN taste delicious, and I think Nourish will be a great head start!
Hello! My name is Emily Hepner and I am a junior in the Nutrition and Dietetics program. I don’t have a whole lot of experience in food service but I do currently work in the dining center in Gilbert Hall. I used to be a very picky eater and eat the same foods over and over but ever since I started learning more about nutrition I love exploring new and healthy foods and even trying foods I thought I’d never eat in my entire life. It’s definitely opened up my world to so many more possibilities! Our cuisine is light and healthy and a lot of people get hesitant from those two words but our team has executed a variety of flavorful nutritious foods in our menu and we hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we do.
Hello, I’m Raquel Feehan. Currently, I am a junior pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I’ve always loved cooking and baking, and love to experiment with and try different foods as part of a vegetarian diet. After a while, I became interested in the nutritional aspect of food, and the impact of good nutrition on the body. As a result, I decided to pursue a degree in nutrition and dietetics with the intent of becoming a dietician, so that I could help people achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Hello! My name is Brittany Northcutt and I am a senior at NIU. I will be graduating May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a minor in public health. The first time I took a nutrition class I was easily interested by the information. I plan to be a dietician in a hospital because I love helping people and want them to be healthy and live a long life. Our menu "nourish" is very interesting to me. It is very healthy along with many super foods that people don't often know about. Eating at Ellingtons is a great way to try new things and I plan to this semester!
Hi! I am Analysa Irvin and I’m currently a junior in the Nutrition & Dietetics program and I’m planning on graduating Spring 2015. I have always had a passion for fresh, healthy food and thrive on sharing it with others. I aspire to become a registered dietitian to help others reach their goals and to create a healthier lifestyle for the community. I think our menu is unique in that we use the commonly named "superfoods" to create delicious meals that make healthy eating easier than ever.
