Jeff Grezlik- Executive Chef
My name is Jeff Grezlik. I am the Executive Chef of The Black Bean at Ellington’s. Currently a senior at NIU and in the Hospitality Administration program, I plan to graduate next year and move ahead into a career managing restaurants. Presently, I am a manager at a medium-sized steakhouse in Yorkville, Il, called Lakeview Grille. I have a passion for great food and pleasing every guest that dines at my facility.
Diana Bejar- Dining Room Manager
My name is Diana Bejar and I am the dining room manager at The Black Bean. I am a nutrition and dietetics major. I plan on graduating spring 2014. After graduation I hope to start my dietetic internship. I am excited about serving our menu items and trying other group’s menus as well.
Artem Denissov- Sous Chef
My name is Artem Denissov. I am a senior Hospitality Major and the Sous Chef at The Black Bean. I enjoy the culinary arts and being in the kitchen. Food and cooking for others is an important part of my life. Upon graduation I intend to work at a hotel and follow the lodging industry as a career. Becoming a general manager is a desired goal.
Jaclyn Scheithe- Marketing Manager, GM
My name is Jaclyn Scheithe and I am the Marketing Manager and GM at The Black Bean. I am a junior hospitality major and intrigued by a lot of sectors of the hospitality industry. I hope to gain experience in event planning as well as hotel management. I currently work as a server at a local American pub and enjoy meeting new people on a regular basis.
