Kelly Drought, Kelli Brody, Preeti Hinglokwala, Courtney Blake
Hello! My name is Kelli Brody. I am in the Nutrition & Dietetics program at NIU and I plan on graduating in 2015. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 3 years, from serving to management. I have always been interested in leading a healthy lifestyle, and nutrition is my passion. My favorite season inspired our restaurant, Autumn Spice. I am the General Manager of group and am very excited for you to join us at Ellington’s! I hope you are as excited as we are to enjoy the warm flavors and spices of this wonderful season!
Hello, my name is Kelly Drought. I am a senior majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. I will be going on to graduate school next August to become a Clinical Registered Dietitian. Some of my passions include yoga and Pilates. I’m fascinated with the physiology of our bodies and the science behind food. Someday I hope to use my knowledge to help individuals improve their overall health and well-being. Fall is my favorite season and is such an exciting time of transition. The weather turns cooler and leaves and produce change colors. Our team, Autumn Spice, has worked hard to bring you a warm and savory cuisine that we all seem to desire at this time of year. We can’t wait to see you at Ellington’s and hope you have a wonderful experience!
Hello! My name is Preeti Hinglokwala. I am currently a 5th year student at NIU. I am currently majoring in Hospitality Administration and minoring in Business Administration. I changed majors my sophomore year because my major before wasn’t a fit for me. Hospitality is a perfect fit for me because I love giving great customer service and love interacting with people. Over this past summer, I interned with Kane County Cougars. It was great interning with them and I had a great time working there. I learned a lot about the company. I am looking forward to going out and working in the hospitality industry with other companies after graduating next semester from NIU. I am part of the Autumn Spice group. I will be the Dining Room Manager for my group. My group chose the autumn theme because all of us love the autumn season, love the autumn holidays and enjoy seeing the colors change on the leaves. I am very excited to serve you and look forward to meeting everyone that comes to my group’s service day.
Hi there! My name is Courtney Blake. I am a junior in the Nutrition and Dietetics program at NIU. I am very passionate about food, health and fitness and would like to continue my education in either Sports Nutrition or Exercise Physiology. My goal is to help people eat great, healthy food and improve their overall well-being! In my free time I love to cook and bake, so Executive Chef seemed like a great fit for me! At Autumn Spice, we promise to provide you with excellent, high-quality food that will remind you of all those seasonal flavors we all love when the weather gets chilly. We look forward to seeing you at Ellington’s this semester!
