Welcome to Tejas Southwest Grille at Ellingtons! My name is Kelly Bodine and I am the General Manager of the restaurant. I am currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at NIU. In addition, I have a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from UW - Madison, which I completed in 1988. I have two children in high school and live in Geneva, IL. We are excited about the bold flavors and colors of our southwest themed menu and hope your entire dining experience at Tejas is enjoyable.

Hello everyone! My name is Yasmeen Villasenor. I am a senior double majoring in Hospitality Administration and Spanish Language & Literature. It has been a great experience being a part of FCNS 320, and I am especially excited about this menu because I love southwest cuisine!
Kimmy Weiher
My name is Kimmy Weiher and I am a senior at Northern Illinois University, majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics, with a minor in sociology. I chose N&D as a major because nutrition is important to me and I plan to work in a hospital setting, helping people live healthy lives. Besides sociology just being an interest, I believe having a good overview of how society works, or why people do what they do is just good to know. I’m a huge country music fan, and LOVE singing and dancing to my favorite songs! I am thrilled about this menu because my absolute favorite food is Mexican—but add a little country kick and you get a fabulous Southwestern fiesta! I believe there is no better combination of food in the world!

Hello Ladies and Gents, my name is Robert Anderson and I am the Marketing Manager for the restaurant. I am a senior here at the University majoring in Hospitality Administration, with a minor in business. I have an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from the College of DuPage. I have been working in the food industry for the last nine years and have worked my way up from the bottom. I love the fusion aspect behind Southwestern cuisine! I hope you enjoy!
