My name is Brittany Berry and I am a senior nutrition student at NIU. I am the Sous Chef for Golden Tine’s. My goal as a future nutritionist is to help people live longer, stronger, and healthier lives free of diet related diseases. Something interesting about me is that I work at Outback Steakhouse yet I am a vegan. I love to cook and am excited to implement fresh and local ingredients into our team's recipes.
My name is Paige Dacanay and I am the Executive Chef for Golden Tine’s. I am in my final semester here at NIU. I am a Nutrition and Dietetics student with a minor in Spanish. I played on the NIU volleyball team for 4 years where we won a MAC championship and made an appearance in the NCAA tournament so I am great at working as a team. I now work as a waitress and bartender while I finish school. I am a positive and friendly person who always has a smile on my face and who cares about helping others.

My family is a very big foodie family and growing up around that, I started cooking at a young age. I love being active and I love incorporating both fitness and nutrition as they go hand in hand in my opinion. It is common for people to think healthy is bland and boring. I have grown up in a family who loves to cook, so I have grown up cooking. I have also enjoyed being active, whether it be a sport in high school or going on a walk with my dogs. I also love to be with family and helping others. So, I combined my love of cooking, being active and healthy, and enjoyment of helping others to become a dietitian.
