Primary Responsibility: The Acting Director is responsible for the overall management of a service-opriented department that strives to develop partnerships with campus constituents and stakeholders by providing quality safety and health consultation, training, and compliance asistance to the campus community.  The Acting Director provides innovative and strategic leadership by administering the following EH&S services in an effort to support campus operations:  occupational safety and health consultation, inspection, and training; fire and life safety training and consultation; industrial hygiene and air quality services; radiologial safety management; hazardous waste and chemical safety services; biological and infection control services; severe weather safety preparedness; and pest control management.
