Tammy Batson, Ph.D.

Education and Experience

Tammy Batson obtained her Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Batson started in 2014 as the undergraduate coordinator for the Department of Economics working with student advising, internships, and involvement. She has also volunteered to help with the Economics Student Association. Batson has now been with NIU since 2002, teaching undergraduate level courses in contemporary economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, intermediate macro and the economics of government and business.
