Undergraduate Advising in the Department of Economics

The Department of Economics offers advising for undergraduate students on a walk-in basis during office hours. We encourage students to seek advising once per semester in order to aid in a rewarding university experience and facilitate a smooth academic career.

Economics students are also encouraged to seek general advising for courses not within the Department of Economics from the Academic Advisors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Zulauf 201, either by making an appointment or calling 815-753-0114.

When coming to meet with an advisor, please be sure to bring a current DARS report and class schedule. The B.A. or B.S. Checklist, depending on your degree program, is also extremely useful to fill out ahead of time.
