Research and Artistry Support
This summer support is provided to enhance extramural funding, to develop new projects through preliminary data collection, to foster interdisciplinary research, and to support new research and artistic activities by faculty.The Research and Artistry Committee emphasizes research/artistry support for beginning faculty.More information regarding Research and Artistry.

Faculty Travel Support 
Faculty who present the results of research, scholarly or artistic activities to their professional colleagues strengthen their position in the field or discipline, further the development of their efforts through dialogue with their colleagues, and advance the reputation of NIU.  In support of these activities, the OVPR will provide matching funds to the Colleges for faculty travel under the conditions outlined in the linked PDF. Faculty Travel
