The DeKalb District 428 and Northern Illinois University partnership aims to raise student achievement, improve the preparation of educators, and share resources where possible.
This P-20 partnership, which works across the education continuum from pre-school through graduate school, currently operates professional development schools (PDS) at Paul T. Wright Elementary and Chesebro Elementary.
Planning has begun for the new DeKalb High School PDS opening in August 2011.
