O'Connell Awards

To: 2013 Graduating Coms Majors ( and  Summer and Fall Graduates)

Each year the Department of Communication honors students for achievements and academic ability at the annual O’Connell Awards which will be held this year on April 28, 2013 at the Holmes Student Center.

The categories of awards include:

Dean’s Award: High Grades & Outstanding Leadership/Service to Dept or College
Outstanding Majors: High Grades & Outstanding Leadership/Service to NIU/Community
Forensics Awards: High Grades and Outstanding Leadership/Service in Forensics
Scholarly Achievement Awards: High Grades (If not already in categories 1, 2 3)
Service Awards: Significant Contributions to Dept/NIU/Community
Research Awards: Evidence of Innovative Independent or Collaborative Research
Creative Achievement Awards: Innovative Independent or Collaborative Creative Work

We don’t want to overlook your achievements and contributions to the department, university and community.
