The 2007 Program
We’ll see highlights of Stratford’s 55th season and Shakespeare’s personal career, including King Lear, Othello, The Merchant of Venice, and The Comedy of Errors. We will enjoy Edward Albee’s masterpiece, A Delicate Balance, and David Edgar’s Pentecost, the optional play for this year’s Festival experience. Stratford star Brian Bedford will play King Lear, and William Hutt and Martha Henry star in A Delicate Balance. This year is also monumental since it is Artistic Director Richard Monette's farewell season.
