ACT Test Preparation

The ACT Assessment® is designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.

The tests cover five skill areas:
English
Mathematics
Reading
Science Reasoning
Writing

National ACT Test Dates


April 12, 2008
Registration Deadline: March 7, 2008
Late Fee Required: March 8-21, 2008
June 14, 2008
Registration Deadline: May 9, 2008
Late Fee Required: May 10-23, 2008

ACT results are accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges and universities.

The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete with breaks. Actual testing time is 2 hours and 55 minutes.

In the U.S., the ACT is administered on five national test dates, in October, December, February, April, and June. In selected states, the ACT is also offered in late September.
