Madness:  Minds Pushed to the Edge

July 28 - August 1, 2014

Pre-trip meeting on July 19th

10 a.m. at the Monat Building Confernce Room
148 N. Third Street in DeKalb

Join our faculty host, Professor Emeritus, William Johnson, Ph.D., for the highlights of the Stratford Festival's 62nd season.  Shakespeare professor and long-time festival attendee, Dr. Johnson will provide valuable commentary prior to the productions as well as be available to answer questions throughout the program.

Shows will include Shakespeare's King Lear, King John, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and a choice of Crazy for You or Hay Fever.  Optional shows include Christina, The Girl King, Man of La Mancha, The Beaux' Stratagem, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, a chamber play.

In addition to the amazing performances, this five-day, four-night travel experience includes a pre-trip meeting on Saturday, July 19th to learn more about the plays, convivial travel, a welcome dinner, breakfasts each day, and orchestra-level seating.  Optional tours give guests the chance to go behind the scenes at the main stage, explore the Festival's archives, and discover the gems of the festival's costume warehouses.

Participants will enjoy accommodations at the historic Queen's Inn, which is located in charming downtown Stratford and within walking distance of all four Festival Theaters.

There has never been a better year to join us!
