Mark Pietrowski is the Non-Credit External Programming
Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences. He received both his B.A. and M.A. in
Communication from Northern Illinois University with
an emphasis on Rhetoric and Media.
Mark plans, coordinates and promotes summer camps,
lectures, conferences, Lifelong Learning Institute
programs and test prep courses. As a graduate student
he received recognition for his service as Graduate
Student Adviser for the Public Relations Student
Society of America, as well as the Martha D. Cooper
Award for Teaching Assistant Peer Leadership and
Excellence.
His primary research interest is in the role rhetoric
plays in shaping how historical figures and events are
perceived by individuals over time.
