Financial Assistance:
There is a limited amount of financial support available for participants.  This money will be allocated based on several factors.  Participants seeking such support, which will not exceed $250, must attach a form to their application (see below).  Some of this support may be tied to a participant’s curricular focus. 

Cancellations/Refunds:
Requests for refunds are accepted if written notification is received. (Refunds will be issued minus a $50 processing fee). Cancellations received after that time will be charged 50% of the total program fee. Substitutions allowed. All reservations confirmed by payment.

All registrations confirmed by payment. Attendance limited to 20.

Application Process

To be considered for participation in this institute, you submit a non-refundable application fee of $25.

To complete your application, you must submit the following items:

1. Application form

2. Application essay that details your interest in the Institute’s topics, your background in the subjects of genocide and human rights, and how you currently integrate these topics into your curriculum.

3. A non-binding statement that explains what topics you would like to focus on during the institute and what lesson plans you would like to develop.

4. Statement, if applicable, requesting financial assistance.  This statement must detail your reasons for needing the assistance and indicating all sources of financial support for the institute.
