Here is your chance! At TV Broadcasting Camp you'll learn what it is like to be a real news anchor, in an actual newsroom. Learn how to write, shoot, anchor, and edit a full news package.
You will work with experienced journalists, media producets, and news directors while developing writing and production skills. You will leave camp with a DVD to showcase your work to family and friends.

Operating a Cameria while utilizing Professional Production Techniques
Editing Video with Avid Software
Jennifer Corvino is an instructor of Journalsim and Electronic News Gathering at NIU. She is also a freelance photographer and videographer and has produced films, documentaries, and commercial advertisements. Jennifer has worked with organizations such as Nike, the Autism Society of Illinois, and Chain link Fundamentals.
Summer Camp Fees: Residential campers $575 ($625 after July 3, 2015); returning LA&S Academic Summer campers, multiple campers from the same household, or NIU employees are eligible for an additional $25 discount on request.
