Science Camp Exploring Nature

NIU Sci-Camp Exploring Nature:
Habitats and the Environment

Campers entering grades 7-9

Sci-Camp Exploring Nature 2012

Early bird registration ends May 15, 2013!

Campers will get down on their hands and knees and explore the various habitats right here on NIU's campus. NIU has a creek, a river, and two lagoons. We will also explore the wooded area and wildflowers and see how wildlife has adapted to living near people. We'll learn what steps people can take to make the world safer and healthier for plants, animals, and ourselves.

Both Exploring camps will live on the residence hall floor, eat meals together, and enjoy many of the same evening activities, including a trip to Davis Hall Observatory and bowling in the Huskie Den.
