Campers entering grades 9-12
July 15-20, 2012

Early bird registration ends June 1, 2012!

Campers will explore several STEM careers by doing investigations with STEM faculty, meeting with STEM professionals from the area, and STEM students from NIU. Mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering will be covered, as will physics, chemistry, geology, and game design. Campers experience dorm life and evening activities are arranged.

Sci-camp Director
Pati Sievert, Science Camp Director for the 9th year, is the STEM Outreach Coordinator, holds a Master’s Degree in Physics Education, and has many years of experience with young people in schools, camps, outreach programming, and as a high school Physics teacher.

Summer Camp Fees: Residential campers $515 ($545 after June 1, 2012); returning LA&S Academic Summer campers, multiple campers from the same household, or NIU employees are eligible for an additional $25 discount on request.
