Science Fair Deadline Dates

December 31, 2011 - Students must apply for waivers, exemptions to safety policies, and so forth. There is no waiver needed if students are working in an approved lab, however you must send a copy of the approved lab procedures to the state.

December 31, 2011 - The State registration for each school ($75) is due.

March 3, 2012 - Project and judge data must be submitted by email to Judy Scheppler using the supplied Excel spreadsheet. Please, do not modify or re-format the spreadsheet cells.

March 2, 2012 - Please send $15 per project to IJAS Region V

March 10, 2012 - A copy of the abstract, safety sheet, and any microorganism and/or vetebrate endorsement used must be received before this date.

March 17, 2012 - Region V Fair at Northern Illinois University, Holmes Student Center

May 4 & 5, 2012 - The State IJAS Exposition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
