College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

With 18 departments, 33 baccalaureate degree programs and more than 3,500 undergraduate students, NIU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the largest of the university's six undergraduate colleges. It also offers 30 graduate programs, including 11 at the doctoral level, for over 1,000 masters and doctoral students.

The college is home to seven research centers and five interdisciplinary research and teaching programs:
