Counseling Staff

The primary therapists are graduate student therapists in their second year of study and training in the specialization of Marriage and Family Therapy (SMFT) in the School of Family, Consumer, and Nutrition Sciences. The graduate student therapists receive ongoing supervision from the clinical faculty in the SMFT program.

 The SMFT faculty are clinicians and individually licensed as a Marriage and Family therapist in the state of Illinois as well as being an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). The SMFT faculty also provide clinical services at the Family Therapy Clinic.
