- Graduate student Erum Raja recently won two university-wide awards: 2012 Outstanding Women Award, sponsored by the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, and the Outstanding Graduate Student Award, sponsored by the Division of Research and Graduate Studies (April 2012)
- Graduate student Erum Raja recently presented her research at the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society as well as filed an application with faculty advisor Doug Klumpp for a patent, based on her graduate work (April 2012)
