Prof. Marc Adler invited to; chairs Symposium session at Oxford University
Assistant Professor Marc Adler recently visited Oxford, UK, where he was invited to speak about his group's research and chair a session at a symposium in honor of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Professor Andrew Hamilton. Professor Adler's lecture detailed progress towards the development of environmentally friendly silicon-based Lewis acid catalysts, research being peformed in his labs at NIU. The international meeting was attended by many former members of the Hamilton lab, along with several adoring colleages of the Vice Chancellor; Professor Adler was a post-doctoral researcher in Professor Hamilton's lab from 2008-2011.
