Chemistry & Biochemistry groups participate in STEMfest
STEMfest 2011 was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the NIU Convocation Center. Both the NIU Chem Club and Professor Elizabeth Gaillard's research group participated in this year's event.
The Gaillard research group helped kids (of all ages) dissect 200 cow eyeballs, encouraging and answering questions along the way. The Chem Club had fun demonstrating the visible light spectrum with give-a-way diffraction grating rainbow peepholes!
