With the goal of preparing you to succeed in the next generation of industrial and engineering technologists, the Department of Technology offers a curriculum focused on developing your fundamental and technical management skills to excel in today’s ever-changing technological world.
Your classes mix theoretical education with industry-based, hands-on opportunities that expand your understanding of applied engineering and how science, math and computers all relate in this unique area of technical education.
We’ve developed a broad range of classes to give you a solid foundation and in-depth analysis of laboratory instruction, equipment and applications being used today by professionals in a variety of technology fields. We emphasize engaged learning, which means you can expect to be involved in real-world projects developed through government and industrial partnerships.
As an undergraduate, you may choose to pursue your Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in industrial management and technology, manufacturing engineering technology or electrical engineering technology to pursue jobs in information technology and network engineering, among others.
Our graduate program puts you on course to obtain your Master of Science (M.S.) in industrial management to prepare you for careers in fields such as occupational safety and manufacturing.
