CEET Senior Design

Senior Design

We require all engineering and technology majors to complete a senior design project before graduation. Students apply the knowledge and skills gained in classes and labs to a real-life application of product design, system solution, or process improvement. Many of these projects address specific requests from local industry.

Your senior design project is a way to use the information you’ve learned in your major in an applied, real-life project. Many projects will offer a taste of the challenges you’ll encounter as a professional:  solving problems, working with interdisciplinary teams, discovering new information, planning systems and timelines, selling and presenting the solutions, and feeling a sense of pride in your accomplishments. Winners of the Senior Design Day recieve monetary awards and of course, bragging rights!
